The consortium composed of GlakoLens, Magnes Ag and Eth Zurich was awarded with a Eurostars Project to develop a protoype smart contact lens that will monitor intraocular pressure fluctuations. This smart contact lens will provide doctors with previously unattainable levels of diagnostic information in the fight against glaucoma induced blindness. As the coordinator of this consortium the budget share of GlakoLens in CONTAXENSE is €590k.
